Good Veteran's Day to you all this 11th hour, 11th day, of the 11th month.

Dr. Bloom Inc. is a company owned by Navy Veterans!  We would like to take this opportunity to honor and recognize those who served before us, with us, and who are serving now.

As you may or may not know, Veterans Day was once known as Armistice Day.  WW1 ended when the Treaty of Versaillles was signed on June 28, 1919.  However, fighting had actually stopped eight months before when allied nations and Germany had a cease of hostilities or armistice that went into effect on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.  Therefore, generally this day was regarded as the end of the "war that ended all wars." and was a day to recognize WW1 vets.

In 1954, Armistice Day was changed in congree to be known as Veterans Day to honor all those who have served, sacrificed for their country, and recognize their patriotism and love for country, and the willingness to serve to protect freedom.
